Toxicity Profile for Di(2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate (1998)

Abstract

Di(2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate was of moderate to low acute oral toxicity in rats and of low dermal toxicity in rabbits. The neat material was an irritant to the rabbit eye. Di(2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate was a potent skin sensitizer in guinea-pigs. It has not been the subject of genotoxicity assays.
