Tetraethylpyrophosphate (1989)AbstractTetraethylpyrophosphate was of high acute oral and injection toxicity to man and laboratory animals and of high acute dermal toxicity in rats and rabbits. The primary target of toxicity was the nervous system. Eye contact has resulted in visual disturbances in man. Preliminary studies have found evidence of mutagenic activity in plant cells. Toxicity Profiles are comprehensive, yet concise, monographs on the hazard potential of individual chemicals. They are written by scientists specially trained in the evaluation of toxicity data and are prepared principally from primary information sources.
