Toxicity Profile for Tetraethylpyrophosphate (1989)

Abstract

Tetraethylpyrophosphate was of high acute oral and injection toxicity to man and laboratory animals and of high acute dermal toxicity in rats and rabbits. The primary target of toxicity was the nervous system. Eye contact has resulted in visual disturbances in man. Preliminary studies have found evidence of mutagenic activity in plant cells.
