Toxicity Profile for Thiodipropionic acid (1989)
Abstract
Thiodipropionic acid irritated the skin and eyes of rabbits. It was of low acute oral toxicity in rats and mice. In limited studies involving repeated oral administration, decreased growth and increased liver weight were reported in rats. It was not mutagenic in an Ames bacterial test or in yeast.
