Toxicity Profile for n-Butyl propionate (1990)

Abstract

n-Butyl propionate was of low acute oral toxicity in rats, and low acute dermal toxicity in rabbits. It has been shown to be a skin irritant in rabbits. Attempts to sensitize a small number of human volunteers to dilute solutions of n-butyl propionate were unsuccessful.
