Toxicity Profile for Diisopropanolamine (1991)
Abstract
Diisopropanolamine has induced irritation and skin sensitization in humans and caused skin and eye irritation in rabbits. It was of low acute oral toxicity in laboratory animals and repeated doses caused kidney, bladder and liver effects in rats. No evidence of mutagenicity was apparent in an Ames bacterial test.
