Toxicity Profile for Dithiooxamide (1991)

Abstract

Dithiooxamide was of moderate acute oral toxicity in rodents. Single oral doses have reduced the activity of certain enzymes in various rat tissues. A limited long-term rat feeding study did not identify any specific sites for toxic attack and gave no convincing evidence of carcinogenicity.

What are Toxicity Profiles?

Toxicity Profiles are comprehensive, yet concise, monographs on the hazard potential of individual chemicals. They are written by scientists specially trained in the evaluation of toxicity data and are prepared principally from primary information sources.
