N-Methylcaprolactam (1993)AbstractN-Methylcaprolactam induced mild skin irritation and severe eye injury in rabbits. It was of moderate acute toxicity in rats treated orally and in rabbits treated dermally. No studies were identified on N-methylcaprolactam's carcinogenic or genotoxic potential, or on its reproductive effects. Toxicity Profiles are comprehensive, yet concise, monographs on the hazard potential of individual chemicals. They are written by scientists specially trained in the evaluation of toxicity data and are prepared principally from primary information sources.
