Dinonylphenol (1995)
Abstract
Dinonylphenol can cause skin and eye injury, whilst the vapour can irritate the respiratory tract. Ingestion may result in corrosion of the digestive tract, headache and general weakness. Related chemicals have a low to moderate acute oral and dermal toxicity in laboratory animals. Several alkylphenols have caused skin depigmentation and displayed hormone-like properties.
