Toxicity Profile for Allyl alpha-ionone (1993)
Abstract
Allyl alpha-ionone was of low acute dermal toxicity to rabbits. The neat material was mildly irritant to rabbit skin but when diluted it did not irritate the skin of volunteers, nor did it induce skin sensitization. No evidence of genotoxicity was obtained in a range of short-term screening assays.

What are Toxicity Profiles?
