Further to ECHA’s press release describing the lack of classification for carcinogenicity for glyphosate (March 2017), the RAC has released the full opinion proposing harmonised classification and labelling for this herbicide. The Committee opted to maintain the current harmonised classifications of glyphosate as a substance causing serious eye damage, and as toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
