Daniel Threlfall

Daniel joined bibra in mid-2014 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with an MSci in Natural Sciences, specialising in Chemistry. He has prepared hazard and risk assessments for clients from a variety of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biocidal products, food and cosmetics. He has also been heavily involved with the preparation of REACH dossiers in IUCLID for the registrations of a range of industrial chemicals, notably regarding classification & labelling, toxicokinetic assessments and DNEL calculations. In addition, he regularly deals with the health risk assessment of potential leachables from consumer product storage systems and medical devices.

Daniel writes for, and edits, Toxicology and Regulatory News, bibra’s monthly awareness development publication and also takes an avid interest in the development of alternatives to animal testing.

Away from the office, Daniel leads a very energetic lifestyle: training for triathlons, mountaineering, and going to the gym. He volunteers as an Assistant Leader at a local Scout group, and enjoys learning Portuguese and exploring the Surrey countryside.
