Dan joined bibra in 2014 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with an MSci in Natural Sciences, specialising in Chemistry. He has prepared hazard and risk assessments for clients from a variety of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biocidal products, food and cosmetics, and regularly evaluates the biocompatibility of medical devices, notably through the health risk assessment of potential leachable substances. In addition, he has been heavily involved with the preparation of REACH registration dossiers in IUCLID for a range of industrial chemicals.

Dan contributes to Toxicology and Regulatory News, bibra’s monthly awareness development publication, and also takes an avid interest in the development of alternatives to traditional animal testing, including read-across, in vitro and computational methods.

Away from the office, Dan enjoys travelling, cooking, and keeping active through cycling, running and hiking.
