Draft EFSA guidelines have been issued to help applicants when they prepare submissions for the safety evaluation of “active or intelligent substances” intended for use in food-contact materials. According to an EFSA announcement dated 25 February 2009, any comments on the guidelines should be submitted (via by 22 April 2009.
