A final EPA report develops a framework to guide decisions on whether to incorporate physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modelling into the cumulative risk assessment process. The framework is intended to help risk assessors use toxicant levels in target tissues as the measure of dose, rather than relying on exposure data.
