An ILSI Task Force met in June 2011 to discuss whether the TTC values derived to protect against an untested compound’s possible carcinogenic or toxicological potential were fit for purpose – it was concluded that they were. The resulting meeting report provides a useful summary of the TTC state of play, and briefly outlines how things might develop in this field in the immediate near future.
