The US EPA has finalised its risk assessment of NMP, carried out in response to its obligations under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Work Plan. The assessment covers the health risks to humans using NMP as a paint stripper. The Agency has highlighted risks of potential concern, with particular focus on possible adverse developmental effects on children if pregnant women are exposed.
