Nickel titanate (2005)AbstractNickel titanate may be a sensitizer and irritant. The only animal studies available involved exposure by injection. Malignant tumours of the spleen developed in rats given monthly intramuscular injections of nickel titanate. There was no evidence of DNA damage in a limited bacterial assay. Toxicity Profiles are comprehensive, yet concise, monographs on the hazard potential of individual chemicals. They are written by scientists specially trained in the evaluation of toxicity data and are prepared principally from primary information sources.
