Toxicity Profile for Nickel titanate (2005)
Abstract
Nickel titanate may be a sensitizer and irritant. The only animal studies available involved exposure by injection. Malignant tumours of the spleen developed in rats given monthly intramuscular injections of nickel titanate. There was no evidence of DNA damage in a limited bacterial assay.
