Allyl phenoxyacetate (1993)AbstractAllyl phenoxyacetate was of moderate acute oral and dermal toxicity in the rat and rabbit respectively. Single oral doses produced liver damage in rats. No evidence of genotoxicity was seen in a range of short-term screening assays. It may have shown some skin irritancy and sensitization potential in man, although the data available were not conclusive. The neat material was not irritant to rabbit skin. Toxicity Profiles are comprehensive, yet concise, monographs on the hazard potential of individual chemicals. They are written by scientists specially trained in the evaluation of toxicity data and are prepared principally from primary information sources.
