Linalyl n-butyrate (1995)

Abstract

Linalyl n-butyrate did not induce skin sensitization or cause irritation when applied, diluted, to the skin of volunteers. The neat material was not irritant to intact or abraded rabbit skin. A low acute toxicity was demonstrated in rats treated orally and in rabbits treated dermally.

Toxicity Profiles are comprehensive, yet concise, monographs on the hazard potential of individual chemicals. They are written by scientists specially trained in the evaluation of toxicity data and are prepared principally from primary information sources.
