Abstract
2-Octanol was irritant to the skin of rabbits and guinea-pigs and to the eyes of rabbits. In rodents, it was of low acute oral toxicity and moderate to low acute dermal toxicity. Repeated inhalation by rats evidently caused tissue changes in the lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, spleen, stomach, brain and blood.
