Pat trained as a technician, specialising in histology and electron microscopy; she joined BIBRA (as it was when) in 1986 and has worked in a number of departments - histology, information, project management, and marketing to name but a few. In the late 1990s, Pat devised a method for coding and distributing of chemicals for in vitro validation studies which were carried out in laboratories all over the world. In 2003, she joined bibra and was responsible for all aspects of office management from meeting and greeting clients to buying the milk for the cups of tea, the latter being the most important of her tasks.
Despite ‘retiring’ from the company during the middle part of 2013, Pat still remains a valuable part of the team – working on a part-time basis as a project administrator [note from the editor: we weren't ready to let Pat go, and have successfully managed to force her into staying with us]. Pat’s interests are history of art, bridge, gardening and grandchildren.
