BfR has tabulated ADI (acceptable daily intake) figures and drinking water guide values for over 200 pesticides authorised for use in Germany. Two types of drinking water guide value are specified for each pesticide – LWTW (the highest concentration in drinking water that can be consumed in a lifetime without causing health problems) and the MWTW (the maximum concentration “transitionally tolerable in drinking water under both aspects: human health and drinking water hygiene”). The table will evidently be updated on a regular basis.
