APVMA has recently published a document detailing its final regulatory position on the herbicide glyphosate, which has been subject to scrutiny by several expert bodies in recent years. Using a weight-of-evidence approach, APVMA concluded that “exposure to glyphosate does not pose a carcinogenic or genotoxic risk to humans” and that there is no scientific basis to revise its guidelines regarding glyphosate use.
