The European Commission has recently presented two draft legal acts containing scientific criteria to identify endocrine disruptors under current biocides and pesticides regulations. These include a potential to adversely affect health, an endocrine mode of action (MoA), and causality between the MoA and the effect for endocrine disruptors. An impact assessment of these criteria has now been released.
