Compound-related effects on the liver and kidneys of rats subject to 2 years of oral treatment were critical in determining an acceptable daily intake (ADI) of 0.01 mg/kg bw for fluopyram. Meanwhile, an acute oral reference dose (ARfD) of 0.5 mg/kg bw was established based on impaired activity in orally-treated rats.
