Two scientific reports submitted to EFSA describe the available literature relevant to establishing dietary reference values for the following:

  • chromium
  • manganese
  • molybdenum
  • magnesium
  • potassium
  • fluoride

Literature searches focussed on data published since 1990, primarily in healthy humans.

Mullee A et al. (2012). Preparation of an evidence report identifying health outcomes upon which Dietary Reference Values could potentially be based for chromium, manganese and molybdenum. Final report CT/EFSA/NDA/03 Lot 2.

Brown T et al. (2012). Preparation of an evidence report identifying health outcomes upon which Dietary Reference Values could potentially be based for magnesium, potassium and fluoride. Final report CT/EFSA/NDA/03 Lot 3.
