The following four protocols for in vitro toxicity testing have been published on EURL ECVAM’s DB-ALM database, indicated by the European Chemicals Agency as a useful source when considering data gaps for REACH, or in a weight of evidence approach:
- EpiSkin™ skin irritation test
- GreenScreen HC™ genotoxicity test
- Human whole blood/(IL)-1β in vitro pyrogenicity test
- Human cryopreserved whole blood/(IL)-1β in vitro pyrogenicity test
A further skin irritation test protocol, SKINETHIC™, was apparently due for release in July 2012, but was not published at the time of printing.
