A recent ECHA news item serves as a reminder that registration of chemicals under REACH is not a one-off exercise. Registrants are encouraged to regularly review their dossiers and to action updates when new information (e.g. relating to composition, toxicological properties or use) becomes available. “Your registration has to reflect the most up-to-date knowledge on how a substance can be used safely at production sites and through the supply chain all the way down to the end user. This is not only good practice, but also a legal requirement.”
