A new version of IUCLID (used to create REACH, CLP and biocides dossiers) has been released. Notably, version 6.2 includes an update of the IUCLID format, covering recent developments regarding OECD test guidelines and classification and labelling regulation. In addition, a novel export option facilitates exchange of data with previous versions of IUCLID 6. The new version also provides registrants with information on ECHA fees prior to dossier submission. While not mandatory, the update is strongly encouraged so that registrants may fully benefit from the new features and have the optimal use of Chesar, ECHA’s Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting tool, version 3.3 which has been published in tandem with the update to IUCLID.

Alongside this, the updated version (3.3) of REACH-IT, ECHA’s dossier submission and communication tool, is now available for companies to use. Novel features include online submission forms for downstream users and substance in articles notifications, as well as additional transparency in joint submissions. A new version of the IT tool used for submitting export and import notifications under the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Regulation has also been released.
