The OECD has released draft versions of a number of new, updated or proposed test guidelines:

  • New test guideline: Vitrigel-Eye Irritancy Test Method for Identifying Chemicals Not Requiring Classification and Labelling for Eye Irritation or Serious Eye Damage.
  • New test guideline: In vitro Macromolecular Test Method for i) Chemicals Inducing Serious Eye Damage and ii) Chemicals Not Requiring Classification for Eye Irritation or Serious Eye Damage.

 

  • Updated Test Guideline 432: In Vitro 3T3 NRU phototoxicity test.

 

  • Proposed test guideline: ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) assay for photoreactivity.
  • Proposed test guideline: In Vitro Skin Irritation: Reconstructed Human Epidermis Test Method.
