Member State competent authorities and the European Chemicals Agency may prepare Annex XV dossiers for the identification of SVHCs which are carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic (CMR), persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT), very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB), or which present an equivalent level of concern (ELoC). The latest dossiers have been released by the Austrian, Dutch, French, German and Swedish authorities, and cover:

  • bisphenol A as CMR (toxic to reproduction)
  • 4-tert-butylphenol as ELoC (endocrine disruption)
  • 4-heptylphenol, branched and linear as ELoC (endocrine disruption)
  • nonadecafluorodecanoic acid (PFDA) and its sodium and ammonium salts as CMR (toxic to reproduction) and PBT
  • 4-tert-pentylphenol as ELoC (endocrine disruption)
  • trimellitic anhydride as ELoC (respiratory sensitisation)
