A SIDS Initial Assessment Report (SIAR) and an Initial Targeting Assessment Report (ITAR) have recently been made available online, and cover:

  • bis(dimethylthiocarbamoyl)disulfide
  • 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate

These chemicals were discussed at the thirtieth and thirty first SIDS Initial Assessment Meetings (SIAMs), both held in 2010. The reports cover both health and environmental effects, and are available alongside supporting SIDS dossiers.

Another recent release was an assessment report for post-SIDS testing results for p-tert– butylphenol, most recently discussed in 2003 at SIAM 16. This updates the previous SIDS Initial Assessment Profile (SIAP) and provides an addendum to the SIAR, discussing genetic toxicity and carcinogenicity data not available at the time.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Assessment reports approved at SIAM 30 (20-23 April 2010) and 31 (19-20 October 2010). Draft assessment report for post-SIDS testing results from SIAM 16 (27-30 May 2003).
