The Australian TGA has published a report which includes summaries of the available toxicological data on the following chemicals, along with its final decisions on their use:

  • p-aminophenol in hair dyes
  • bis-isobutyl PEG/PPG in rinse-off cosmetics
  • 2-chloro-5-nitro-N-hydroxyethyl-p-phenylenediamine in hair dyes
  • chrysoidine base in cosmetic and domestic products
  • crystal violet (and related dyes) in hair dyes
  • cyclaniliprole in agricultural products
  • 2,4-diamino-5-methylphenetole in hair dyes
  • 4,5-dichloro-2-N-octyl-3(2H)-isothiazolone in paints, sealants etc.
  • disperse yellow 3 in hair dyes and other products
  • fluopicolide as a fungicide
  • isopyrazam as a fungicide
  • methyldibromo glutaronitrile sodium in cosmetics
  • 2-methylresorcinol in hair dyes
  • nonanoic acid in agricultural products
  • potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide in food
  • propamocarb as a fungicide
