The TGA has produced a report on the safety of low dose cannabidiol (CBD), a major cannabinoid with potential therapeutic use. The report assessed current literature and concluded that CBD “presents a good safety and tolerability profile” at oral doses of ≤ 1 mg/kg/day, though there is little information on its safety profile in children.
