NTP reports on toxicology and carcinogenesis studies

The US National Toxicology Program (NTP) has announced the availability of several draft NTP technical reports, including:

Each report summarises the results of toxicology (typically 3-month studies and genotoxicity assays) and carcinogenicity studies (carried out in rats and mice), together with a review of pertinent toxicity information. With the exception of diethylamine, all the substances mentioned above have shown at least some evidence of carcinogenic activity. The draft technical reports are tentatively scheduled for peer review at a public meeting on 8-9 February 2012.
